Friendly family run tea shop. We had tea and cake. Inexpensive.

Lovely waitress and FOH staff. Chef/owner was really rude and purposely burnt my sisters bacon in her BLT when she sent it back as it was undercooked. Shame because we came here last year and it was really good!

This place is okay if your not clock watching have time to kill and like the mismatched confusion of the staff when they are busy. All food seems to be cooked from a bank of microwaves which the cook often lost count of. The volume of dogs barking also can be a put off for non dog owners with the smell they omit

We came for Sunday lunch £12.00 for two courses . I hate to say that it really was a awful lunch , served cold and no roast potatoes .The pudding was great so maybe they should stick to being a coffee shop .Saying that we all found the staff ( family ) charming and were trying to be very helpful , they were certainly the best part of the meal .I really wish them well but maybe give up the Sunday lunches .I wish them all the best x

Very slow. 30+ min wait for sandwiches. Food this simple should be quick. Food is fine but is nothing special.

We had a first class lunch here today. My husband has the big breakfast which was absolutely perfect. Every element was delicious, good quality and it really was very big!! I had a jacket potato with prawns, which was so fresh and again perfectly cooked. Such an enjoyable lunch. The staff were really friendly and engaging. It’s nicely tucked away from all the busy part of Holt. A great find.

Great Service by very friendly staff who make the visit stand out from other similar establishments. The manager offered to serve us drinks even though it was 2 minutes past closing time and then proceeded to offer the same service to two more customers as well.

Excellent little café tucked away in Appleyard. Hot coffee and panini on a chilly October day really hit the spot. And the chunky chips were just fantastic!!
Had a really nice breakfast here along with a coffee. The outside seating area is pleasant in nice weather and the staff are exceptionally friendly. Would definitely recommend if you're in the Holt area as it's a treat. It is a little bit tucked away off the main high street area but it's not too hard to find. The only thing I wasn't too struck on were the vegatarin sausages provided in the veggie breakfast but that's a personal preference thing more than it is a fault. Also, they're taking part in the eat out to help out scheme so Monday-Wednesday it comes at 50% off which is a bonus.
