Lovely rooms sympathetically done in a beautiful town. Staff went above and beyond to ensure that we were looked after. A great breakfast at a local cafe included. The pub has something for everyone - restaurant, something more lively or a quiet zone for a cosy catch up. A great stay was had.Food & drinks: Great breakfast !
Very nice pub in a lovely village. Great selection of drinks and a good menu with food from main meals to sandwiches. We had a few sandwiches and they were really nice, lovely soft bread with plenty of filling. Staff are very friendly. It's a bit of a TARDIS, there are loads of tables inside and a huge conservatory. Will be going again.....

Very warm welcome. Not having booked, wasn't sure we could get a table being so near Christmas. However, nothing was too much trouble. Shown to a lovely table in the conservatory. Polite, efficient waiting staff. Plentiful hot portions of main courses followed by equally delicious desserts. Would recommend.
