The food was delicious and freshly cooked to order. Ronan and Alan were brilliant hosts I would go back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely superb place to stay, location is perfect for leisurely walks or travelling slightly further afield. Conveniently located in the village. The hosts are exceptional in both hospitality and cuisine making this one of the best places to stay on the North Norfolk coast.

We have just had a fantastic weekend at The Harnser! Our hosts, Rocco and Rubin (The Frenchies) and Alan and Ronan (Their humans) were brilliant and made my partner, myself and our little dog Molly feel so welcome. The room was clean and very comfortable, the bathroom was too. We had a superb evening meal on the second evening of our stay and we both had the Sea Bass Fillet which was cooked to perfection by Alan. The cooked breakfast we had both days was also very good and cooked brilliantly by Ronan. We will definitely be staying here again and can’t recommend it enough and an absolute must for dog lovers. Thanks boys and hope to see you soon!!

Very comfortable beds. Spotlessly clean. The food was excellent with generous portions. Two charming French bulldogs to greet us and check that we ate all our delicious breakfast. Thank you Ronan & Alan for a relaxing stay. Margaret & Derek

I read online that it is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays but that is incorrect. It is closed on Tuesdays. The rest of the time the cafe is 11.00 -16.00. Food 12.00-15.00 and 19.00-22.00.If it is busy the food may take a while but is worth the wait. If you are lucky and they have swordfish in, I can definitely recommend it.If you are staying at the windmill there is an allyway that leads straight to the pub in one minute. At night take the torch from your room.

Just had 2 nights at the Harnser with my wife and French bulldog Franco . From the moment we arrived Ronan and Alan made us feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough for us . The breakfast was amazing . Franco was made to feel special as they have 2 lovely frenchies themselves . We can’t wait to go back again as we had such a lovely short break

We stumbled upon the Harnser on a wet walk to Cley. The owner was incredibly welcoming to our family and served the children the best hot chocolate with big marshmallows. We returned for dinner on the last night of our holiday. Again, the owner was very warm and welcoming. The food was delicious - homely, well cooked, good quality ingredients. We had a lovely evening. This was a gem of a find and we will return next time we visit the area.

We stayed in the quaint B&B while we were in Norfolk for a friends wedding. We stayed 2 nights. The food was fabulous! The room lovely and the village very picturesque. And Ronan the owner was delightful.

I've just had a fantastic 3 night stay at The Harnser. The hospitality is second to none; with both Ronan and Alan being excellent hosts, providing a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Alan's cooking is superb and the place is very dog friendly. We will be returning (again); and not only for the carrot cake

Wandered in for lunch and had good experience - nice sandwich selection reasonably priced and friendly service. Sat outside at table with sun shade. Is licensed so had a beer also. Dog friendly with a number of visitors having pets. Overall pleased we chose this place.

We had a fantastic lunch at The Harnser yesterday and were very taken with the delicious sandwiches and the friendly host , Vernon. So we went back for dinner tonight and enjoyed the most delicious, beautifully presented fish platter! Again, Vernon made us feel so welcome and the decor and atmosphere was delightful. I have been coming to my holiday house here for twenty years and have many favourite pubs and restaurants. However, this is now my number one! Friendly, great atmosphere and fantastic value! Vernon knew my name, came out to help us park and made us laugh too! Thank you so much Vernon and partner. We will return asap !
