I left a review on deliveroo and gave you guys a 1 star because I received the wrong food, which at the time was disappointing as I was at work and only have my allotted lunch time. You kindly replied and explained you have students working there and it was an honest mistake and If I'd have called you would have replaced it. Very pleasant counter staff. Helpful and efficient. Waiting staff were friendly and served hot drinks to our table. Food was served quickly and it was hot and tasty, by the the chef himself. Overall it was a lovely brunch. My only niggle was the ‘foodie/fried’ smell on entering. I’ve taken a star off for that. I could smell it quite badly on my clothes after we’d left. Love this café. The food is really good, cooked professionally and served Hot!!! The staff are very pleasant, friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is calm and quiet, no intrusive music/kitchen sounds etc. everything is clean and looks nice. This is a perfect, timeless café.
