After a chilly walk along the beach, we popped in for a cuppa. Nice and warm inside, welcoming staff, an d very spacious cafe. Both the tea and coffee were good. Couldn't resist the cakes and the Victoria sponge was to die for, so light and fluffy with deliciously fruity jam. Ice creams were good too.
Arrived just as they were closing but the chaps who work there insisted on cooking me fresh chips.The lads were brilliant and took pride in their work.I hope they do very well for themselves.

Very friendly, accommodating staff despite our arriving close to closing time. Good food - tasty scamp and Haddock. Batter grease-free and chips were delicious! Prices are what youd expect now at a coastal seaside chip shop at c£20 for two adult meals with drinks. Lots of choice on the menu. Dog friendly. Thank you.Vegetarian options: Nice to see some proper vegetarian options.
