“First time here for a post Norwich City Football Club match beer. The sister pub to the very popular Fat Cat. Good range of beers, although being an IPA / lager person, didn't try any. Being straight after a home game they had plenty of servers and service was swift and with a smile. Didn't try the food, so no comment there”

“I doubt you'll find a better or more reasonably priced Sunday roast in Norwich then here. No frills but a cosy, atmospheric pub with enthusiastic, friendly and welcoming staff. And a very good range of ales. A pub you feel very much at home in.”

“Visisted here for the first time this evening with my partner and 3 friends and we were all very impressed with the quality of the food. The menu is quite small but when the meals arrived they looked fantastic! The onion rings were amazing, home made but not too greasy and fried in a lovely batter. The chips and mushrooms were also really good! One friend had the chicken and stuffing pie from the specials board which he was very impressed with. Another one of my friends ordered the banoffee cheesecake and WOW that looked incredible. It was home made and he said you could really tell, he said it was one of the best cheesecakes he's ever had. The rest of us were all drooling over it wishing we had ordered one! Definetly must try the cheesecake next time. Service was quite slow but the food was worth the wait. The older guy working behind the bar was really nice to talk to, despite being new to visiting this pub and not one of the regulars, he was friendly and happy to engage in conversation, making jokes and being really warm which was lovely. It was a shame so many wasps and flies kept coming in (4 wasps in total just in the time we were there) which I can only assume might be because the doors are left wid open. Not really a criticism of the staff as I understand in summer it gets warm but maybe some fly/wap nets would be a good investment for hygiene but mostly comfort of customers. Really lovely setting overlooking the water. Hope to return again in the future.”

“Have dined at the old feathers a few times and the quality is always amazing! The staff were courteous, friendly and went above and beyond! We dined here tonight for a 60th birthday meal and the staff went to the extra effort of laying out the table with decorations and ensuring it looked perfect. The food was incredible!!”
“Whilst scratching around for a late booking, we came across this place, its not what we usually go for but after reading the reviews we gave it a try
After a 5 hour drive we were welcomed with a cream tea and shown the quirky air conditioned room , which was large and had period decor which suited the building.
The wi fi was excellent despite how many were using it and worked in all areas we needed to use it ( no need to stand on a chair near the reception area like some hotels )
The rooms were cleaned and replenished daily and the breakfasts were well organised with plenty of choice
All the staff were readily available, extremely helpful with a smile and nothing was too much trouble
overall a relaxing few Days in part thanks to the White Hart”

“It's a lovely little pub in the middle of the village and at the end of Rockland broad where there are around 8 free morning's, it's great for a overnight stay, so back to the pub great people who make you feel welcome and a nice little area for outside seating on those summer evenings, so yes I'll be going ”
