I brought Mum over for a treat; she loved her meal; what an excellent Sunday roast in a proper pub, cooked to perfection; the beef was superb. The Fat Cat & the Canary is a real hidden gem with a pleasant, very welcoming atmosphere, and I would recommend it.
Absolutely fantastic pub well worth a visit,massive amount of ales and ciders to choose from,great buzz in this pub,landlord is great,staff are superb the best,food is amazing the chicken wings are to die for and the loaded fries are out of this world,brilliant chef,ps the Lilleys Rhubarb Cider is mega.

Great place to have a drink. We had a pizza from the van outside as it was a Wednesday honestly it's the best pizza we've ever had. The pub permits you to eat in the pub. A pub quiz had just started but we had to leave. We will definitely be returning very soon. Highly recommend. Service was very good
