Ok, so this was far from a well diarised visit, but hey, some the best times out are just spare of the moment decisions, aren't they. So, a half hour relaxing with a nicely made cocktail to start with. Yes, that went down very nicely, thank you. A whisky sour for me, and for my lovely better half, a martini. Went in for Sunday roast. Dont order extras unless there are 2 of you or you are super hungry. Partner had the hake which was sublime. Both dishes were great. Chocolate brownie was to die for. Very competitive prices for the atmosphere and venue. Special mention to Bex and David for turning a meal into a great experience. If the food wasn't enough to bring us back again the staff definitely were.

Came for our Xmas do, the food was good, but the portions really small, the turkey had a solitary long carrot, it felt like we should have had a self service of atleast sprouts. Cocktails were really good as always, I had Pornstar Martinis.
