This place is a Norwich treasure. A superb slice of authentic Japan through familiar and accessible food. I eat here regularly for lunch. The chef(s) are trained in Japan, or at least in the traditional manner and produce reliably high quality food from what are clearly superior ingredients. An excellent family meal. The family thoroughly enjoyed their Ramen noodles and I loved my chicken katsu which was tasty but slightly dry, but that is to be expected with a crumbed dish. The rice was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive and the ambience really lovely. I recommend an upstairs table.

Had the BEST lunch here today. The service was great- really friendly waitresses who were happy to recommend their favourites, accompanied by a really chill atmosphere.The food was incredible- I had the chicken gyozas followed by the spicy salmon teriyaki, which came with a miso starter, and rice and salad on the side. Really filling and great value for money.I can’t wait to come back!
