Staff and friendly and doing their best. Everyone here feels drained by the over-managing of a tall, grey-haired theatrical type who is constantly breathing down the necks of the staff, micromanaging and clipboarding everyone. He's officious and a little rude with the customers and the whole place would be much better without him!
As with most visitors to the NNUH, you go for a coffee at the Pod so go early in the morning before 9am you pay half price for the the coffee, which is good, to bad that at times the coffee tastes half price.We went about 6.30pm the young man who served us was a bit grumpy as he just wanted to go home, the young lady who was cleaning very lovely, very chatty, asked who we were visiting etc, but the coffee was awful weak more milky than anything, if it was busy I may have...read full review

After paying for my coffee, I had to wait 15 mins for it to be poured.Seating was comfortable.No atmosphere though, maybe because it's in hospital grounds.Parking: As it's a hospital car park, you have to drive round until a spot becomes available.
