Visited for Mothers Day and the food was excellent, most of us opted for Sunday Roast which really tasty, veg was cooked to perfection as was the meat. Already recommended to some friends and will be coming back.
We felt immediately welcome and at home as we entered this lovely gastro pub. Vegan options were on the menu and a couple of extra choices were offered. The food was imaginative and beautifully presented - tasting as good as it looked. The chef had a chat and was so enthusiastic about his food that you could see it was genuine. The atmosphere was just right, buzzy and cosy as if everyone knew each other. So happy to find that the Walpole Arms is back on its feet again - the restaurant...read full review

What a joy of a place. Seasonal foraged ingredients coupled with great service wine and a lovely relaxing space. So very happy to have had a lovely meal here with my mum. We absolutely loved it.
