Love this place and can honestly say, they have the best sausage rolls I've ever had. Great food and a lovely little shop too.

We came here for lunch, and it was not disappointing! There were a couple of cafes to choose from but we are very happy we came to this one. It has a very chilled out atmosphere, and the staff are very kind and helpful. The food was incredible, so would definitely recommend! Honourable mention: the sausage butties have 5 sausages on them!

My wife, daughter and I have been visiting for years when holidaying and have enjoyed the evolution of this delightful place, so we popped in for coffee on 03/11 - it was fabulous and the sandwiches looked great. So on 04/11 we stopped again for bacon/ sausage sandwiches. The food quality was great but the service was woeful. There was only us and a table of 4, who received their breakfasts over a 10 minute period. We waited 25 minutes for our sandwiches, which is not ordinarily an issue but there were at least 3 staff in and the table of 4 (only other guests got their 1st breakfast as we arrived). Just as the first sandwich was due to arrive I requested they be wrapped for takeaway as we couldn’t afford the time. I waited nearly 5 mins for all 3 sandwiches to be wrapped and was handed them without the offer of a bag and not one word of apology for the time taken. Food great; location lovely, service dreadful. What a shame.

We went here for lunch before going on a cruise on the broads. We told the staff that we had booked the cruise, and we only ordered a cheese platter a slice of carrot cake and a pot of tea to share. The tea and cake came fairly quickly but the cheese platter never arrived. After 45 minutes we asked for the platter to be made up to take away as we had run out of time. This was done very begrudgingly. They dumped everything in to takeaway boxes and gave us knives and forks to eat with but no paper plates. All in all we were very disappointed.

Nice combination of classic local cuisine and some nicely curated alternatives. Feels like a modern take on a traditional cafe. Very friendly staff and a little shop as well.

This is such a lovely cafe and shop! We took a couple of vegan cakes as a takeaway and they were reasonably priced and delicious, in fact, we both commented on how nice they were and generously sized. The person serving also asked if we had allergies and went away to double check ingredients etc. Well done. ?

Our family has had many enjoyable visits to Horning. A lovely place to watch boats and bird life. On this occasion we booked a table at The Galley, the owners have only recently taken over. It has a quaint cottage feel, and was toasty and warm. As well as being a cafe, it is a deli and gift shop. The staff were lovely, the food was gorgeous and for the portion sizes, we felt the prices were very fair. My daughter had a vegan platter for one, and it was delicious. The cheese scones were the best I've tasted and the cakes were also top notch. Also the pots of tea were piping hot, sadly I have had many pots of tea elsewhere that have only been like warm. I could not fault this visit and would recommend the Galley to everyone.

Called in this morning for my quite regular take away coffee, two members of staff in the prep area saw me but no hello and did not come out to serve me. One did come out to speak to a second person about the Sunday papers but still no hello or service.

Excellent. A warm scone with jam, cream and a pot of tea. Perfect. The scone was moist and soft. The service was good. It was good value for money. My only complaint might be that the restaurant seating area was quite hot and needed some fresh air through it.

Delicious vegetarian pasty and my husband enjoyed his steak hornish pasty. Friendly staff. Can’t fault them.
