The atmosphere was phenomenal! I came here with my Husband last week and the food was incredible! I had the Fish and chips because what is not more fitting when visiting a broadside pub than the fish and chips! My husband had the steak and venison pie and was blown away by the fantastic taste of the pie, the enticing aroma of the pie and the presentation was perfect. Such a great pub with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. Laura is especially amazing, and her weekly bingo and quiz nights have definitely helped get through the dark, cold evenings :). If you haven't been to one yet, you must! The food is great, with a good choice on the menu. I'm counting the days down until we can all enjoy the sunshine again in their lovely garden backing onto the river...... Thank you to all at The New Inn.

I love this pub. The staff are always friendly and helpful... nothing is ever too much trouble to make your visit enjoyable. With its spacious and well-maintained garden for the summer months and the cosy open fire when it's a bit colder, visiting the New Inn is a must at any time of year. Oh, and they spoil your dog too with a special Sunday lunch, free treats and plenty of water bowls!
