Great little cafe situated on Marriotts way. Brilliant for all you cycling enthusiasts. Very nice coffee and cheesy chips. We had a pasty each, one was a little burnt but still edible if you bit hard enough. Staff were

Querky old railway station put to good use! Great coffee, attentive and friendly staff. I didn't have time to eat this time but hope to be back.

We sat and waited, all around being served. We sat and waited more, no acknowledgement of we'll be with you in a minute or something of the sorts. We waited more....Decided to stimulate the local economy

Fantastic meals and homemade cakes and a great barber shop next door too.

Can't understand why sitting outside means you can't have proper mugs , plates etc. Not very environmentally friendly or very welcoming!Arrived at 11.30 and told i could only have what was on show, nothing from breakfast or lunch menu which was very disappointing. On a brighter note the cake and coffee I did have was very nice.

Have been many times before and have reviewed before. First time we have been to try the buffet breakfast. The vine tomatoes are sooo tasty, and having them in the hot holder with the mushrooms,so the juice of the tomatoes are soaked up, is scrummy. Good quality sausages is a must, and the sausages here, are very tasy. My only criticism is the hash browns. A bit soft and just a bit boring. Great staff, good atmosphere, highly recommend for breakfast and lunch

2 of us visited at 11am, despite sitting at the picnic style tables provided at the front of the cafe, we were served as take away customers which was a disappointing waste of packaging and resulted in the wooden utensils not being able to cut through the food, missing sugar, missing stirrers etc. Didn't feel as welcoming as it has before and I've been visiting 20+ years. The staff were chatting to those obviously known to them dotted around outside and seemed preoccupied until the place was engulfed with a group of walkers when we felt it was time to go. My sausage roll was hard going, overworked pastry maybe, blackened in places as others have said. Coffee was nice once everything was gathered so it could be stirred and drank, no offer of help for 2 people with walking sticks and trying to get in/out multiple times. This place has sadly lost something and I can't quite put my finger on what it is but I won't hurry back.

Went to this cafe today as the cafe we went to first was a wipe-out . So glad we did. Easy parking, friendly and helpful staff and very tasty, freshly cooked food. Not a bit of plastic in sight and recycling waste bins. Dog friendly, too. Highly recommended!Vegetarian options: I had a mozzarella, roasted pepper and pesto ciabatta which was served with fresh salad and hand made crisps. Absolutely fantastic .Parking: Loads of spaces, no charges.

Okay for a coffee and cake or scone. Actual meals available are limited. Also rather expensive for what you get. The big Kerrys furniture and accessories store in the old railway shed has closed and the new building of an estate has given it less of a countryside vibe.

Stopped here after a short walk down the disused railway line. Very good selection of food. Nice cup of tea and very friendly staff. Food being served looked delicious. Would definitely recommend.
