I've visited many pubs in my long life. At lunchtime yesterday, New Year's Eve, I went to The Crown for the first time. As soon as I came through the door of this otherwise not very prepossessing building I felt completely happy. No oak beams, no horse brasses etc just three delightfully smiling ladies (3 generations of one family?) behind the bar, warm, simple bar area, and excellent beer. It was a real pleasure to be there and I wish I had known of it long ago. I shall return!

First time visiting the pub. Lovely atmosphere and excellent meal. We had a query with one of the dishes but this was dealt with quickly and efficiently - waitress was so lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fabulous lunch here today. My halloumi Wrap was amazing and my husband e joted his chicken Wrap. The food was gorgeous and well.presented. Our little dog was also made Welcome and given a bowl of fresh water. We were just passing through but I would recommend this cafe to all catering for meat eaters, vegetarians, vegan and those with allergies.

Popped in for a bacon sandwich, millionaire shortbread and a coffee. Very nice food and a cosy atmosphere! Refreshing after a long walk in the Norfolk countryside.

The big pie is well worth getting if you are feeling hungry. Sunday dinners are value for money. I think You have to book as it gets busy. So tables are reserved so no waiting Great landlord and landlady. Very friendly place.
