“I had a lovely birthday meal here today.Food and service was fantastic.But toilets need to be improved as taps in men's toilets didn't work atall, which I think is quite important these days with covid still going around.”

“It was my first visit here for a year or so with friends.A very friendly and welcoming venue with helpful staff and a landlord who shows a genuine interest in his patrons.The food was most enjoyable. A varied menu of good-sized meals that represent value for money. There wasn't enough room to even consider trying the desserts, so I guess next time it'll be for dessert only!!The venue has a well stocked bar and is ideal for catching up with sport. It also hosts local sports leagues that its patrons teams play in.There are good facilities here, including a large outdoor area with heating to eat, drink, and socialise.Reservations recommended. Closed on Monday and Tuesday.”

“The Thetford Albion is a very good pub and a wonderful karaoke place. We used to go every Friday and I really enjoyed this. It's a great value for what you get and I particularly liked the snooker table and the people here are wonderful, it's always a good banter and I've got nothing but lovely memories to remember of this place.”

“This pub was very quiet when we visited.A couple of large spaces with televisions showing sport; the third stuck on ‘Samsung Hotel TV’ splash screen.A couple gaming machines. No wins. Sad.The beer was Moretti; this was acceptable.Centrally located, better than the chaotic mess that was the Wetherspoons opposite - far better option for a quiet pint.”

“Very nice meal at wetherspoons. We went for dinner here when we were in Thetford visiting family. We've had mixed results from different spoons and this is definitely a good one. We parked just up the road as the car park outside is closed off, not sure if this is a permanent change or just while some work is being completed next door.Ordered from the app at our table, steak with peppercorn sauce and chicken strips in a basket with extra gravy and the 2 soft drink options for just over £22 as there was an offer on our order we have no idea what for. Both dishes were served quickly and cooked very well. Lovely and tasty and both steaming.We also ordered pudding and had the apple crumble with custard and chocolate fudge cake with ice cream again both big portions and very tasty. We will definitely return here on our next visit to Thetford.”

“Never visited before... what a beautiful pub ? we visited after a swim. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was amazing and quick service.Few toys for the kids to keep them entertained, also free fruit per child while they wait for food :)Great overall, I will definitely return... thank you ?”

“Food was okay but no Greenking IPA which is pretty much useless for a Greenking pub. They were very short staffed, perhaps the owners should consider raising their wages to make working there a bit more attractive.”

“After recently arranging a funeral reception for a very dear friend I would like to praise the amazing support myself and the family received while arranging this, we arranged to meet Nicola who kindly worked round a time that was convenient for the family, the family felt at ease as soon as they met her every detail was carefully planned and arranged to the families exact requirements, a private room was arranged which we were allowed to decorate to celebrate his life, on the day of the reception everything was laid out beautifully and the food and cakes were delicious, I absolutely recommend Nicola for anyone who is looking for a venue to hold any form of occasion. Thank You Nicola for outstanding service.Noteworthy details: A funeral reception.”
