Fox & Hounds is a lively brew pub with a fabulous atmosphere, especially on Friday nights when live bands perform. The pub is filled with friendly locals and offers a range of its own ales, all well-kept and fresh. Guests have enjoyed the homemade food, particularly the steak & ale pie, praised as one of the best in a long while, along with the burgers. While the decor is a bit dated and the carpets worn, the overall experience is positive, with friendly staff and a dog-friendly environment. Note that food is not served on Sunday evenings, and parking is available in a small lot and on the street.
