Mad Hatters Tea Shop was a great choice on a rainy Saturday morning. The owner and staff graciously welcomed our party of five, displaying remarkable patience as we deliberated over our food and drink choices. In the end, we decided to embrace our inner foodies, going all out with a delightful mix of breakfast items and a piece of every cake, much to their amusement! ? We arrived half hour before they closed so only had time for tea, coffee and a large slice of date and ginger cake. Delicious. We sat outside. Our table was cleaned for us. Service was friendly. Small with nice decor. We will definitely return, but earlier next time to sample their savouries or afternoon tea.

The afternoon tea was superb. Nice sandwiches, sausage roll, scones and delicious cakes. A good selection of tea or coffee. Excellent service and a really good experience. Well worth a visit in nice surroundings
