Lovely village pub! We were greeting with a warm welcome from Lenny the dog, and an even warmer welcome by the owners. Exceptionally kid and dog friendly, we literally felt at home by the fire. There was a nice selection of food to choose from, special shout out to the chips, apparently they come from the local farm…off the scale good!

What an absolute gem of a place. The staff were so helpful and prompt. The food was exceptional and it was reasonably priced. Would definitely Recommend a visit if even recommended a detour to eat here. Thank you so

We came from a local recommendation as we were staying at Camp Katur. The food was some of the best food we have ever eaten. Chef makes all the breads, sauces just perfect. They owners and staff were super friendly and accommodating to my little boy who was 2, super tired and offered him a plate to share our food without me asking ( when I rang up to book) Clearly a pub loved my locals but not a pub that you feel unwelcome if you aren’t local. Everyone was friendly and a great atmosphere. We will be back as soon as we possible can :) Best wishes Steph Sam and Teddy

Stopped off here on the way back to our lodge from a bit of exploring, absolutely starving! What a find, the owners are lovely, lenny the dog is a little belter, the food is beautiful and the pub and gardens are stunning! We will defo be back to make use of the log cabin and fill my belly with food and beer for a weekend 10/10

This wonderful village pub opens Wednesday to Sunday, serving delicious meals from 5pm to 8.30pm. Dog friendly, warm and welcoming. Best pint of Guinness my fella has had in a long time. Food was stunning. We had the pie and Moroccan lamb and our plates looked like they had been licked clean. Can't recommend this lovely pub enough. An easy andv truthful 5 star ?❤?

Second time for us in this lovely pub. Another warm welcome, which we have noted, is becoming quite rare in other establishments since Covid. The decor is beautiful & it makes me relax as soon as I enter. The offering of alcohol is great & the owners & locals are very welcoming. Our second try at the monthly quiz & a fun escape for my husband and I from the children. Questions set at a good level, so it is enjoyable, even with our terrible memories! With plenty of other local offerings but leading very busy lives, this pub is everything we are looking for. Having had a quick peak at the rear garden on our departure, we are planning to bring the children next time & with 4, there are few places we attempt that! Knowing that our business will be appreciated, that the service will be good & that there will be a lovely place to sit & escape to, makes all the difference. Please drop in to this little gem, I am sure you will not be disappointed!Parking: Ample parking directly outside
