We came from a local recommendation as we were staying at Camp Katur. The food was some of the best food we have ever eaten. Chef makes all the breads, sauces just perfect. They owners and staff were super friendly and accommodating to my little boy who was 2, super tired and offered him a plate to share our food without me asking ( when I rang up to book) Clearly a pub loved my locals but not a pub that you feel unwelcome if you aren’t local. Lovely village pub! We were greeting with a warm welcome from Lenny the dog, and an even warmer welcome by the owners. Exceptionally kid and dog friendly, we literally felt at home by the fire. There was a nice selection of food to choose from, special shout out to the chips, apparently they come from the local farm…off the scale good!
