We fancied Fish and Chips so drove down from The Bay at Filey. Sadly we were disappointed. We had to wait for the food for about 10 mins as they had just finished a large order for a family. No bother to wait.Sadly, it wasn't worth the wait. It was very expensive and the food was not great. Bought Gluten free fish and chips, Sausage and chips, both fine. My fish and chips however had the smallest fish i have ever seen in a fish and chip shop, the fish was also dry compared to the gluten free version. I felt for the price this was poor value for money and would not shop here again. These meals were purchased from the takeaway.

This place was the only fish and chip shop I could find in Filey that offered a halal option. The term used at the counter is 'gluten free' which means your fish and chips are fried in a separate fryer (some type of vegetable oil). The fish fries quite nicely but the chips don't fry as well but they are still edible. The service is good - staff are always polite and friendly.
