How is this place not #1? It deserves to be. Incredible f&c of the highest order. Great, well organised, enthusiastic young team serving and prepping. People are are always looking the ‘the best’ fish and chips and this has a lot of the attributes to take that title without trying too hard. We sat in and glad we did. Literally the best fish and chips I've had in a long time!!! Fish was thick and delicious. The batter was amazing and crunchy. Mushy peas were good. Service was fast and very friendly. Shame we're on holiday!!! If you're in Filey ...go!!!!

Wow!! Today we searched high and low for a decent chippy in our area and find nothing. Went as far as Filey and turned down a street to park and saw the brown room. At this point I was just thinking I’m starving I’ll go anywhere! Oh my days this was amazing!! Beautiful chips not covered in grease, crunchy batter and a soft bread bun! Can’t get any better than that! Well done and will be returning! Xxx
