“Quite simply the best fish and chips.Lovely meaty haddock, tasty batter that is crispy but not hard and perfect chips.Very reasonably priced, good size portions and friendly service.Only issue is how far away they are from home, which is why we choose Filey for a short break to enjoy them again as we liked them so much when had them earlier in the year.”

“We visited last night, on a whim. We’ve only just read the reviews so had no prior recommendations. In truth, we really enjoyed the food. It had a traditional Chinese food taste. Good portion sizes too. The waitress was a little abrupt but I genuinely believe this is a cultural trait. In fact she had character and added to the spark of the atmosphere. She was actually very efficient! We won’t forget this meal and it was worth a visit!”
