We came upon Piebald Inn by chance. We had been visiting Bempton cliffs for the birds and where taking the scenic route home. What a gem. Friendly helpful staff.An amazing 52 types of pie available.we all 3 chose differently and we all gave the pie 5 star. Both the pastry and the filling were excellent. Choice of potato, freshly cooked seasonal veg. And gravy The portion seemed huge to us women but we took home the rest of the pie in a box.I had a very good Theakston's beer.We had arrived at 2.30 as well...no.problem. many thanksNearby activities: Good local shop HunmanbyBempton cliffs especially in Puffin season.Antique shop FlamboroughSouth landing Flamborough with RNLI station and shop. After a wonderful day in the Yorkshire countryside with family, we had previously booked a table here, at the Piebald Inn.All 5 of us had either slightly different or totally different pies. All served with veg, chips ,mash etc.The pies were of a good size, and according to all in our group, tasted sublime.Piping hot and sumptuous. Mine was the Mustang, a Chilli pie of the most wonderful flavour, with a kick like a stallion. All good sized portions. I had veg and boiled potatoes with mine.Didn't manage the dessert menu.Great food with superb service, hot and delicious.We will certainly call in here again. A wonderful experience.

We came to the Piebald Inn sat 16th March 2024 with some friends. It was our first time, we were newbies, our friends had been before quite a few times. Joe greeted us and explained how you choose which pie, he was so helpful. The staff couldn't do enough the pies were amazing. Te chef came out to talk to us. Highly recommend this to anyone. If you have a motorhome you can park up too, win,win.

Loved the choice especially for me eating gluten free. Meal was lovely. A good choice for gf but not great the next day. I’m extremely sensitive to gluten so this maybe me.Lovely staff.And dog friendly.

My husband, cousin and I made our first visit to the restaurant today. Each of us had a different type of pie and we couldn’t fault them. They were extremely well filled and totally delicious. Generous portions and a good choice of vegetables to accompany the pie. Well worth visiting. Staff were very helpful, pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately, I left my handbag at the table but my husband received a call in very quick time from the restaurant to inform us of this. I would like to say a special thank you to the young man who served us, phoned us about the bag and kept it safe for me, (Friday afternoon 1/3/24). He is a credit to the restaurant.
