I remember this from a misspent youth in Filey when it was known as The American Bar. It is out of the way and most trippers will miss it. That is probably why there were just four locals propping up tha bar when we walked in. They were aimiable enough and happy to share banter and a bit of mickey taking. We are a married couple and based ourselves at Blue Dolphin taking advantage of a cheap midweek deal there. We did sections of The Cleveland Way in a morning both to Scarborough in one direction and Filey in the other on different days. We are reasonably regular visitors to Filey as are other Family Members who had highly recommended Bonhommes as a hidden away Bar worth finding and they were right. We found this little cracker a few weeks ago, made very welcome by staff and customers. We took part in the Saturday quiz for 2 weeks, what a laugh! Sell Stella, big tick✅,prices reasonable, so we stayed for the afternoon, hic?. Dog friendly too
