This is a really friendly place with great tasting, reasonably priced food. My wife and I had a selection of tapas dishes and we both agreed it was the best we had ever had. Thoroughly recommend and will return when we are next in Harrogate.
Amazing! This was our first tapas experience and I can’t believe what we have been missing. The food was absolutely delicious. We had 7 dishes between 2 of us, which gave us a good selection of the menu. The staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better host than Vlad, he was brilliant. We were celebrating a birthday and when they brought our pudding out… the chocolate cake came out with a candle and Vlad got the restaurant to sing happy...read full review

We chose Essensa at random sat down in the hotel bar before walking out for supper. What a find. Service was exceptional with a very warm greeting and the food was better! Highly recommend next time you are in Harrogate.
