“We received a friendly welcome from staff, who made an effort to find our party of five a table. We had the ploughmans option, which included a pork pie (yum) and the baked camembert - both were tasty and good value. We sat inside but there are tables outside with a pretty view. And dogs appear to be welcome.”

“Lovely place to have a bite to eat value for money. Sandwich fillings well and truly fill ones sandwich to the brim. Very friendly service and the staff greet their customers with a smile. We went back twice in one day! I think that is a recommendation in itself.

Vegetarian options: I and my friend had the delicious egg sandwich each.”

“Very nice venue. Good quality food and drink. Dog friendly. I hate waste so when I was left with 1/2 a pot of tea I asked for another cup for a friend... to be told it's one per person. Bit tight if you ask me.”

Downsides are that the choice on the menu is limited and it was quite cramped for four people and two dogs.
