The chef approached me to discuss what he could prepare and I had the most amazing interesting salad (icecube!), it was delicious with mushrooms like I've never had before. Thank you & I will be back.

6 Castlegate, Helmsley, YorkI have just had the best poached eggs, avocado and chilli on toast, sat in glorious sunshine with super friendly and polite staff on hand and my little dog sunny enjoying the view. Highly recommend it here .. thank you for a wonderful brunch !

10 Market Pl, Helmsley, YorkGreat place to relax. Friendly staff, great food. Reasonable prices. It was busy here. I waited here before catching the bus after completing the Ebor Way. I had the homemade Pea and Ham Soup and Ploughman's lunch. Very tasty served on slate.

From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional warm, attentive and genuinely thoughtful, making the whole occasion feel incredibly special. The team went out of their way to ensure everything ran smoothly and that my father felt truly celebrated, which meant a great deal to us all.
The food was outstanding, beautifully presented and full of flavour, with each course clearly prepared with real care and skill. It was a perfect setting for such an important milestone, relaxed yet refined, and every detail was handled seamlessly. A truly memorable lunch and a place we would wholeheartedly recommend for any special occasion.

The Rose & Crown, Nawton
Simpson Hill, Nawton, YorkJust eaten a sunday carvery for 6 of us, we needed to change time of booking and they accommodated us without a problem. The carvery was delicious. Fresh veg , homemade roast , fabulous yorkshire puddings with plentiful meats. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We will be returning again xx

Helmsley, YorkThe Feathers is a lovely hotel in the heart of town, Our room was nice and comfortable, The food in the hotel is excellent at both breakfast and dinner. It was our 3rd visit to beo the Feathers and to Helmsley. The team are really friendly and professional.

The Vinehouse Cafe at Helmsley walled Garden
Helmsley Walled Garden/Duncombe Pk, YorkFriendly staff and very welcoming! Ordered a latte to start with, then scones afterwards. There’s plenty of seats inside the glasshouse and lots of sheltered outdoor seats too. It’s dog friendly with treats available! The fruit scone was fresh and delicious!!

Barkers Yard, Helmsley, YorkLovely staff, very cute, cozy vibes. Food was lovely and tasty. Fresh, full English and not greasy. Cooked on the grill. Lots of nice desserts. They also cater well to Vegetarian/Vegans. Would recommend ?
