Lovely café, dog friendly and very welcoming. Visited with my two greyhounds who had enough room to lie down (although they both decided to stand throughout our visit!) nice flapjack and coffee.

Popped in with our two dogs for a bite to eat. We were delighted with the vegetable lasagne special and delicious selection of homemade cakes. Lovely staff and great atmosphere with roaring fire.

I will always try and support small businesses and that's why my friends and me chose to go here. You get what you pay for. Nothing wrong with the food, though not impressed with the service.

Went in for tea and a light lunch. Sandwiches good and served with side salad and doritos. Tea cakes great. Large pot of tea good too. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Served by a happy chappy who was singing away all the time we were in there. Would certainly visit again if in the area.

Lovely setting.We were clearly forgotten about by the waiter as another server needed to remind him to take our order.Both ordered the Full English, came with one slice of white and one slice of granary toast. Was disappointed we weren't given a choice, but thought maybe thats how they do it. Then heard another waitress ask the table next to us "would you like white or brown." So clearly an option, but not one offered to us.

Wow! Such great breakfast! There are breakfasts and there are breakfasts.. but here they actualy cared to make the eggs on toast perfect. Enjoy!

Called in for a coffee. Had poached eggs on brown toast. The eggs were cooked to perfection Coffee was lovely. Staff were lovely excellent service. Lunch
We visit the Royal Oak every year when we are in the area. We always sit in the bar area as it is dog friendly. Welcomed by a lovely roaring fire (which the dog loves). A great cosy atmosphere in the bar with great service and great food! We will continue to return!

Had a lovely coffee here such a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Didn't eat but the cakes looked delicious ! The toilets were lovely decorated and clean even had hand cream which is always a nice touch. Next time will try the cake!

Having booked through your app 4 months in advance and had reminders of my booking, we arrived to be told we weren't booked in and that the restaurant no longer used open table. The restaurant was very busy but they went out of their way to fit us in. The service and food was excellent so I can't fault the management and all the staff. Just the booking process and your handling of this. Won't be using you again.
