The food was terrible. The pub opened at 13:00 and were not taking food orders until 13:30, so we got a drink and some crisps. The bar maid was lovely and welcoming. We ordered the food at 13:32. After 35 mins our food came to the table, firstly a steak pie and chips. The colour of the chips was non existent. The carrots and veg were overcooked and cold, next a cheese burger served upside down that looked rustled up again with white chips (rustlers looked better) then fish fingers (browny grey fish) over cooked and curled like overgrown fingernails and again white chips. A browny grey ‘cod’ and chips and a stone cold steak pudding served squashed. It really was not edible. Oh and the sachets of sauce were out of date. The way the food is priced you expect it to be fresh and, the bar maid looked embarrassed but not shocked. Upon seeing the cook stick her finger in the pie in the kitchen saying it was hot I had to comment, (of course being an old chef I can’t help myself and she clearly doesn’t like chefs) sadly she did not take my words kindly and asked us to leave once we had finished our drinks. We paid for our drinks and crisps and nuts and left as we were not made to feel welcome.Instead of just holding your hands up and admitting you are wrong you launch a personal attack, instead of saying you are not bothered take the advice of professionals or members of the public. Instead of coming back with childish I don’t care and looking pathetic with your responses, show some good customer service. People trust honesty not attacks. It’s a shame as I have nice pint of bitter. But that’s it.Luckily we found a nice cafe with great food at a reasonable price so my kids did not starve

The three of us plus our large dog were made most welcome. As an ex publican myself, I am particularly critical. The bar was well managed, clean and tidy. The Amber ale and the Suprise Santa ales were well kept and couldn't fault taste or texture. The menu gave plenty of choice and we can vouch for the steak, ale and mushroom suet pudding, the Morecombe Bay Chicken and the half chicken. Portions were generous, chips were lovely and the service was friendly, prompt and professional. When we come back to the area visiting, we won't hesitate to return.

We stopped by here for lunch whilst walking the Ingleton Waterfall trail. One of the best pubs we've been to in a long time. Lovely atmosphere and very dog friendly. We felt very welcomed (as did our Jack, who enjoyed his treats) by who we presume were the owners. Food was classic pub grub, exactly what we wanted after a long walk and it was fantastic - ate everything on the plate! Genuinely had such a lovely time, glad we stopped by and hope to visit again in the future.

Quite literally the worst pub we’ve ever been to. Myself and my partner felt so uncomfortable the whole time we were there.Pub was empty.Man at bar was grumpy and unapproachable.Food uncooked - served us a jacket potato that was stone cold along with a salad that was half rotting.Expensive food - £16 for a frozen piece of cheap gammon and uncooked chipsHorrendous smell as soon as you walk into the place.Good range of drinks. But I wouldn’t recommend eating here.

SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!Have eating difficulties after throat cancer so spent an hour on the net looking for menue's.Finalky telephoned, guy says the brewery set up the web site and he knows nothing about it??? Also he was computer illiterate. No help what so ever, he didn't give a damb.Call in and look at the menu???If that's the helpful staff god knows what the food and service is like when you go there, if after that you would!!!

As a group of 5 and 2 dogs . We popped into this pub for a round of drinks and a bit of banter . Pints were spot on, and the lady who owned the pub came over with some treats for the dogs. I liked the rusticness of the place! Didn't eat but the food looked lovely .

We spent a very pleasant couple of hours in the lovely beer garden on a warm Saturday afternoon. Went back a couple of day later – had a great chat with Mark and Sue. Turns out Mark and I went to the same school – small world! They had a nice selection of real ales – the Framers Blonde was my favourite. They were all nicely kept. If and when we’re next in Ingleton, we’ll most certainly be back.

Just finishing off our weekend in Ingleton. Can't recommend this pub enough. Been in all the pubs over the weekend and this one wins hands down. We where made to feel like one of the locals. Sue the landlady is brilliant. So friendly and treated our dog Maddie like her own. Cant wait to come back. Thanks sue xx

Had to wait over an hour for food. The staff were friendly though and very apologetic.
