We hadn't been to Stanley's for a while, but knew it would be as good as we remembered, and ofcourse it was! They 've had a bit of a refurb, infact the whole B and S store has, but nothing else has changed; same delicious food and first class service.Thanks to Helen and team.

Lunch with friends who hadn’t been before and were certainly not disappointed. Such lovely, friendly and helpful staff and nothing too much trouble. Very busy but the service was excellent and the food delicious and presented so beautifully. Lovely comfortable surroundings and sat for 2hrs catching up but under no pressure to leave. My friends very impressed and will definitely be going again as I will too.

Always great food, not cheap but worth it. The mushrooms on toast are fantastic and the French onion soup is excellent. It does get very busy so worth booking, especially if you are a large group. Worth taking some cakes away with you.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lift but it's quite narrow between tables

Had a lovely lunch with my friend on Monday 18th December, the staff were so friendly, it was busy as it was lunchtime but the outstanding service was fantastic. The food as always was delicious, the atmosphere was so nice and festive, the staff can’t do enough for you, so friendly and attentive. I recommend you give it ago ? you won’t be disappointed ?

Stanley’s is a really excellent place to eat a snack or a meal. We have had lunch several times, today being the most recent. Today I had the lamb open sandwich special, not too big, not too small, imaginative combinations, tender sliced lamb, pea Rosti , pig in blanket, onion gravy and mint sauce. Very tasty. And all for a very reasonable price delivered by friendly and helpful staff. We also take our dog who is always welcomed with a small bowel of water and a handful of doggy treats. It must be good because it is always well attended but we have never had to wait long for a table.

There are specials every day, always been a great veggie one when I've been ?the Spanakopita was great! Hot (proper) ginger cake with ice cream and butterscotch sauce for pud, there's a great cake selection!Nice healthy options and smoothies change daily too.The staff are lovely and do a great job, well done to you all, we always feel very welcomed ? and is now one of our regular places.Plenty of car parking, located in Barker & Stonehouse. Handy for Next, Boots, Matalan, TK Max and M&S.
