We enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch on 17th of March. My husband and I both had pork which was excellent. The service was very good too even though it was busy. We've been before as we were staying at the nearby caravan site within walking distance. We had our dog which was no problem. We highly recommend this pub!

Went for a drink on a Sunday, absolutely packed with diners, but space for us. Super friendly bar staff and locals made to feel very welcome. Beer well kept, food looked fabulous. Will return.
My wife and I visited today and we were not disappointed. The food was fabulous beautifully cooked. The service was exceptional. The management and staff were lovely and friendly There is easy access for disabled people.The toilets were spotlessly clean.There is a decent size car park with a small sitting out area weather permitting.Well worth a visit.

Called Wednesday lunch 17 January. Was passing and decided to go in. Passed many times but this was the first visit. Pleasantly surprised. Warm and cosy and made very welcome by the young man and young lady. Service with a smile. French onion soup to start and sausage and mash with vegetables for main. Absolutely spot on, could not fault any of it, pat on the back for the Chef. Both dogs also made welcome. Would highly recommend a visit. Steve Pierce

Gastropub is a term overused by many 'ordinary' Pubs, they should come here to see what the term means.Staff very busy but friendly, prompt and attentive, nothing too much trouble. Dogs are also welcome in the bar area.Menu varies a little but some regular choices stay on, some great choices. Truly great food & service.Excellent again today, nothing here is ordinary!
