Visited as a couple for an evening meal after a days walking . It was just what we needed, a cosy pub with a roaring fire and friendly bar staff ( and Chef ) . The food was excellent and reasonably priced for the amount on our plates . I would definitely recommend a visit and I believe they also do accommodation with a breakfast to die for . We will certainly visit again.

Lovely pub in very nice surroundings! Everyone finished their dinner and the service was very good! Would go back again and recommend!

Stayed at their Bunkhouse next to the Inn. We went to eat on Saturday night as part of a hen do. My 1st visit but the rest of us had been loads of times. The food is amazing a deffo 10 / 10. I had gammon steak with egg and pineapple, salad and the chunkiest chips iv ever seen. Beautiful!! The rest had curry, sweet n sour, broccoli cheese bake and all said how nice it was. The staff are so friendly. Seriously could not fault this place. It was packed, fully booked so that tells you how good it was. Cannot wait to go again. A lovely lady from the campsite next door joined us for a drink afterwards. All so friendly! Would highly recommend but do ring n book just incase it's this busy

Wonderful small and family run pub in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Wonderfully welcoming to us and our dog. Room was cosy and simple but really wonderful and the view was spectacular. The included breakfast was excellent but our evening meal stole the show. The lamb cutlets were just amazing! Would highly recommend!

Very disappointing. Food was good but the service was terrible. We were seated in a small side room and basically forgotten. Had to ask to order food, plates were not cleared before we left and we were not asked if we wanted desserts. Would not recommend or return.

Called for lunch having looked at the website. The pub has a good selection of drinks and food and is dog friendly. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Staying at the camp site next door, we booked a table and enjoyed the food, atmosphere and friendliness that we booked again. Good plant based and pesci selections, reasonably priced and good size portions too. well worth a visit for the food.

Firstly , as the title suggests we visited Streethead Inn 3 times in 4 days. We had eaten at the pub we were staying at but was very disappointed, but that is another review!. So visit 1 We had booked by email and telephone on the day of our visit so when we arrived we were asked if we minded eating in the Conservatory area. We said it was fine as they had a heater on. I had the local lamb cutlets which were delicious. My wife had the duck breast which was equally delicious. Overall a very pleasant visit. So much so we booked for 2 days later. Visit 2. This was our anniversary night and was looking forward to a special night out. Once again we were placed in the Conservatory. Unfortunately the heater wasn't on and it was a good deal cooler which, Unfortunately, made the food go cold quite quickly. We both ordered the sirloin steak which was 10 ounce! We did ask if they did a smaller one and was told no! We requested it to be cooked medium , nice and pink, Unfortunately they were both very well done. The chips and vegetables were very nice but again went cold quite quickly. We had lovely bottle of Voigner for just £20. It was a nice visit but a tad disappointing. So visit 3. We specifically asked to eat in the restaurant area and we had a nice table in there. We both ordered the Chicken strips cooked in drambui and cream sauce with mushrooms and onions, we had potatoes and vegetables accompaniment. It was delicious. The chicken was moist and succulent . The sauce was very tasty. We again had the same wine which was very good and reasonably priced. In summary, we very much enjoyed our eating experience at the Street Head Inn and will no doubt return in the future. Footnote It is very popular, particularly as there is an attaching caravan and camping sites, so booking in advance is essential.

We had previously visited the Streethead Inn for a week day lunch and it was OK. Had heard from quite a few people that to he roasts were really good so we booked (essential as it gets really busy). I have to say that even with the weight of expectation we weren't disappointed, truly exceptional roast dinner. A big thank you to Nigel and all the staff for a friendly welcome and a super meal. We shall return soon

A bunkhouse that sleeps 20? Comfortable for 8-10 but overcrowded with any more - especially for adults. Facilities are good though.

Absolutely GREAT!!\\nStayed here on a whim on way back from glamping .\\nWas greeted by a very happy and friendly chef immediately in car park upon arrival..who made me laugh ! ?\\nHe just said..\\\" yes.... follow me !\\\"\\nThe room was really lovely with everything people could possibly need....with an absolutely stunning view.\\nAlthough I'd said earlier I wasn't going to eat any more food for a fortnight...the menu soon changed my mind on that.\\nThe food and service was excellent and as soon as I saw Eton Mess on the vast dessert menu ..well that was it !!\\nA very nice relaxing place and very good food and service indeed....!\\nIt was definitely a good spontaneous decision to stay there for sure ...thankyou guys !!

This has been a perfect stay, start to finish. The welcome we received was warm and local and set the standard from there out. All the staff are brilliant and the interactions are positive, friendly and also with humour. The owner, Nigel is a farmer as well and very funny and honest and again with a great humour that might surprise you. He completes the staff well and despite working all day, his presence in the bar is brilliant. We stayed in room 1 in the pub and it was clean, a nice size and well stocked where you'd expect. The view of the surrounding hills was a great sight and we have no complaints with the room. The food, amazing taste and portion size was brilliant and a great price as well. We stayed for 3 nights and sampled a lot of the menu between us and not a bad starter, main or dessert was had. Breakfast was also great and no complaints there either...10/10 for the food. The atmosphere / vibe of the place is perfect and it's a busy place and plenty of people to meet. The location is good, about 40 minutes from the viaduct start for the 3 peaks walk in the area and a great location to start many a walk. Dog friendly as well as long as you tell them in advance and pool and darts available.... Not a bad thing to say about it. The perfect place to come back to and relax after a day out and no need to travel out to other places. We will be back in October and can't wait to enjoy Yorkshire again with this as our base Martin & Tracy
