We enjoyed a 5 star afternoon tea in this beautiful hotel. We were greeted at the door and for the 2 hours we were there we were made to feel very special. The afternoon tea was plentiful. Our compliments to the talented pastry chef.

Having stayed a few nights in the Lake District, we decided to extend our getaway and booked into Yorebridge for a couple of nights in June - booking the Barn, which is a short walking distance from the hotel, in the village and offers a quite, tranquil escape away from the hotel environment. Having settled in, we met our neighbor for the couple of nights stay, Dave - who happened to be the owner of the hotel. A real nice guy and totally focused on ensuring all guests have a great stay. Very engaging and friendly. For a small, boutique hotel, we were surprised by the variety of rooms available at the hotel. The facilities and service was second to none and we totally enjoyed our stay. Breakfast and dinner were great dining experiences and the team at the hotel are obviously selected for their customer service and interpersonal skills as without exception, all were friendly and engaging. My only slight negative was that the dinner menu was the same on both nights of our stay, therefore felt the second night was quite limited. We are very much looking forward to returning to the hotel to experience their great Yorkshire welcome and hospitality - therefore without question or hesitation, would highly recommend.

We stayed at Yorebridge House in April 2022 after it was recommended to us by a few friends, firstly let me say the staff were great and very friendly and helpful. We stayed for the evening dinner which was also very good and it great to be able to see into the kitchen and see the chiefs working, also the breakfast was very good with just about any option available and all freshly cooked. The problem I had was with the room we had, we stopped in the Greenwich suite which initially when we were led him looked great but, the room has been built into the roof area and whilst it may have a big floor area quite a lot of it can't be used unless you stoop down because of the angle of the roof. The bathroom at first looks lovely with 2 baths but if you want a shower like most people do in a morning the you have to stand in the bath with a hand held shower, not ideal. Also if you need to use the toilet it can only be used if you sit on it because of the height of the roof. Over night it was very windy and something was loose on the roof which kept banging on the roof, whilst this probably would not be a problem but because you are laid in bed very close to the slopping roof this kept us awake all night, its also quite claustrophobic in bed with the proximity of the ceiling Its not that they could convert the roof space into a room its if they should have and then charge the same as a full size room. The layout and outside noise of this room completely spoilt our break, we had intended to go walking the following day but after have no sleep just went home.

Yorebridge is simply excellent. The staff are very well trained, highly competent, most friendly and helpful and have a good sense of humour. They clearly enjoy their work and it shows in the relaxed and comfortable relationship they have between themselves and with the customers. The food is top class and the extensive wine list allows a choice of very good bottles at a fair price, but also the opportunity to splash out at the high end of the scale. The dining room and lounges are very pleasant and the bedrooms luxurious and offer a range of design experiences. The location is as good as anywhere in Britain and the owners, David and Charlotte Reilly have done, and continue to do, a fabulous job on this boutique hotel.

We had our wedding at Yorebridge House a couple of weeks ago and it was the most perfect weekend. I have a serious allergy to egg and Dan, the chef, worked with us to create an entirely egg-free menu for the whole weekend. They even checked which wines had been fined with egg white and removed them from behind the bar. The attention to detail was incredible. Charlotte and David and the whole team made everyone feel so welcome and always went the extra mile to make things special. All the rooms were gorgeous, with comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. We will definitely be coming back!

I've swapped between 4 and 5 stars on this review so many times finally settling on 5! The one and only thing that I wasn't happy with was the mattress and i didn't feel it warranted a whole star deduction when everything else was so good. For me it was far too firm and it meant I didn't have the best sleep. That being said the rest of our stay was outstanding. The staff are just incredible so attentive. They bend over backwards to make you feel special, nothing is too much trouble. The room we stayed in was the Rahmoune and it is beautifully decorated throughout, including the bathroom which is a great size with a stand alone bath and walk in shower. The garden with hot tub was lovely and private and the hot tub was very clean and preheated to a delightful temperature for our arrival. Now for the food...absolutely stunning couldn't fault any of it. We did the wine pairing and throughly enjoyed each cause, special mention to the marmite butter and those little beetroot canopes absolutely delicious! Breakfast was amazing too. The package is quite expensive but if you ask me its most definitely worth it what a lovely place, in an idyllic location. We will most definitely be returning.

I had been meaning to come here for some time - after reading the menu whilst walking past one day! So, we went for my wife's birthday for a 2 night stay. In short, stunning. This is a beautiful country house tucked away in the middle of Wensleydale, surrounded by glorious countryside. Rooms are all individually designed with particular themes - ours had an Italianate vibe. Spacious, sumptuous and with a great bathroom - big enough to be a room by itself! Food is superb. Dinner is a tasting menu with choices - if such a thing exists. The vast majority of the produce is locally sourced - meat for example comes from the butcher in the village, so low airmails there! You can choose to dine with a view of the serenely calm kitchen and watch the chefs in action, if you desire. Over the two nights, the menu varied enough so that it was different but kept some dishes, so for example my wife had the crab starter twice it was so nice! Other highlights were a stunning lamb dish, and a gorgeous veloute with ham hock for an 'amuse bouche' on the first night. Breakfasts are equally excellent and inventive - whilst the 'full Yorebridge' is great, it would be a shame not to try one of the other options - the Eggs Benedict was lovely with an airy, almost foamed Hollandaise, and my wife adored the bacon and waffles with Maple syrup. Whilst we were there they had new car charger points installed too - so it's even future proofed! Don't miss this haven in the Dales.

Our first visit since moving fairly locally 2 years ago, and what a find, Jamie the Restaurant Manager was the perfect host. Our room was in the eves, and huge with a double bath in the bathroom Dinner was wonderful, the right amount of hospitality, stunning food, and the flight of wines, a perfect combination Breakfast was also fantastic, and we will definitely be returning sooner rather than later We even charged our car, which was complimentary in their new charging points that were installed that day We spoke to the GM Sophie on check out who was so hospitable and a delight to chat too You have a perfect hotel, do not change a thing Thank you Jason & Kerry

My husband and myself had afternoon tea at Yorebridge House for my 70th Birthday. Lovely place by the side of two rivers. One side the Ure and the other the Bain. Sandwiches, cakes and scones were delicious . Staff friendly and very helpful. Nothing too much trouble. What more can you want.

Just such a lovely place and cannot recommend sufficiently; this was our fifth visit. The staff are outstanding - well trained, attentive and professional. There is an innate desire for customer satisfaction that is lacking in many other establishments. The breakfast and evening meal were predictably perfect and a decent level of variety; all presented extremely well. Yorebridge House is in a lovely setting, just to the edge of the quaint Bainbridge. We took the 2.5 mile walk to the picturesque Semerwater, which was lovely. We previously visited around the time things were difficult in Covid Times - even then, we were still treated to a lovely stay in the circumstances. Thank you Yorebridge.

It was just one night away for a bit of luxury after 2 years of lock downs for my wife's birthday. Bainbridge is a beautiful spot in the scenic North Yorkshire and Yorebridge House fits the area perfectly. On arrival, the bar provided us with a glass of wine and the kitchen created some fine cheese sandwiches to keep us going until our evening meal. We have eaten in Michelin rated restaurants up and down the country. Yorebridge House is not Michelin rated but neither my wife or I could remember having a better meal anywhere.

Fabulous place. Great friendly service in a great location. Food was excellent and couldn't fault it. Only one slight niggle, and its being really picky, was the show head in the room could do with replacing, but other than that 5 stars all round.
