Always seem to be short staffed, like many chain coffee outlets. Still, they do their best to serve promptly. Took advantage of the 2.50 breakfast sandwich offer with medium Americano for 5.55. Sausage bap seemed better value than bacon I've had before. Would go more often if these offers were on all the time. Decent coffee served in an actual cup, unlike Pret in York the other day, with a paper cup for eat in.

Friendly and quick service. The hazelnut latte was scrummy! We ordered lunch from their festive range and were delicious! Plenty of seating available and the staff were lovely!!

A pretty average branch of Costa. Unfortunately there was very slow service on the Sunday after oon of my family's visit and an unsupervised trainee barista made me a cup of warm milk instead of a flat white but a more senior member of staff replaced it when it was drawn to her attention.

My favourite little coffee shop, always greeted with the warmest smile and politised staff, who promptly took my order and got on with making it, within a matter of minutes I was supping on the loveliest cup of coffee.
I last visited this Costa in 2019 and it was very poor then. Today I was passing through Malton and picked up a takeaway coffee. It was the worst coffee I have ever had. If I had not been passing through and had driven 4 miles before I realised how bad it was I would have taken it back. For almost a fiver, not good enough. It tasted burnt and bitter. I threw it away. Will never go back to this branch and advise others to steer clear.

Staff always super helpful. But time after time after time is it dirty and grubby. Powers that be need to take serious note and invest in a daily cleaning service. Staff having to clean the place is clearly not working. Staff deserve 5 star, the cleanliness deserves a 1 at best. Also, how long to fix the simple flooring repair !!!!!!!
