We have been wanting to try Uozo at The Cross Keys for some time, and we finally got round to it last night. I’m so glad we did. We had the tasting menu, consisting of 7 courses and my husband had the flight of wines to pair with each dish. Every dish was carefully planned and beautifully executed with sometimes an unusual choice of wines, but that seems to me to be the point of a tasting menu; to try unusual dishes and wines. Very good food which would be worthy of any high end restaurant. Cocktails were well made. Service was friendly and efficient if slightly too formal for my own taste but that shouldn’t stop you going. Hopefully there will be enough people in Malton wanting this sophistication of cooking and it will thrive. We will be back in the new year for the tasting menu hopefully. Excellent

Had a lovely evening here with excellent food. Amazing attention to detail across the tasting menu. We opted for 5 courses but wished we had gone for 7 as everything was so good. Will definitely be returning.
