Sorry, it's a bit of a story, but.... I came here for food a few months ago and was served the wrong steak, badly cooked, and took ages.My most recent visit could not be further from this.I don't know if there is a newish menu or new chef, but the food was fabulous! The order was slightly wrong as I ordered fries and was served chips. However, the chips were awesome. Decent local pub feel, has pool table, darts and outdoor for all 4 days a year of decent weather.
The food was excellent Tuna melt salad & homemade chips.prices good .The only fault I had was the dogs .The owners dog although friendly was allowed to walk around the pub freely,then she picked it up & continued serving customers if I’d seen this before eating I would not have stayed very unhigenic.
