“We stopped here for Sunday lunch, and it was superb.
We had been before a number of years ago, and always planned on going back as we enjoyed the food so much.
It did not disappoint, the selection of meats and vegetables that came with the sharing board were more than ample, well prepared and very tasty. The dish came with three meats, beef, chicken and pork, all were really good quality, and cooked very well, and the vegetables that came were very tasty, we did get the addition of mashed potato, and this was just as good as the rest of the food that came.
Highly recommended, I will make a return trip”

“Only one of the few wet pubs in the area. Where you can finish the evening in a relaxed atmosphere.…. Since I made this review, the land lady has sadly passed away, and due to covid understandably people have not been calling in. Several temporary landlords have tried to keep the pub open as a going concern as it is the only pub in the village. If only someone would invest in the pub to make it a little gem foe people to visit once again.”
