The service, the food, the atmosphere was amazing, the servers couldn’t do enough for us and the team really went the extra mile to make my mums evening special. 3A Main St, Wheldrake, YorkWe enjoyed Cafe Valeria's fortnightly pizza night yesterday and it was truly wonderful. A well thought out menu that keeps things simple (very Italian!) but also provides great choices. The pizzas are delicious and authentic and the lemon meringue canolli was perhaps one of the best deserts I've ever tasted. A perfecto coffee to round it all off. Shout out to George for seamlessly and conscientiously shifting through the roles of waiter, chef and barista. We will be back soon!

Long Ln, Aughton, Yorkan absolutely blissful oasis day at oaks ,a beautifully relaxing treatment by Sarah and the best Caesar salad I have ever had , I totally recommend this ,wonderful staff ,will definitely be back

The Wenlock Arms
73 Main St, Wheldrake, YorkThe perfect Sunday lunch, in a quality, proper local. Lots of tender tasy meat accompanied by a great selection of hot, well cooked vegetables. All the waiting staff were attentive, unobtrusive, and friendly. We were left to chat and relax between courses, as requested, so the pudding of blackberry and apple crumble was delicious. Not too sweet with a lovely cinnamon warmth to the crumble.
The tables are well spaced, and the whole pub, which is large, has a cosy, local pub ambience with a real attention to detail of sparkling glasses and quality presentation.
There is something to please everyone on this menu, a decent wine list, cask ales, and even alcohol free on draught! We wish the new owners great success they have certainly started off well. The place was busy with a contented, happy buzz. Oh and it's dog friendly!
