Close to York racecourse with great public transport links and parking on street in the village. Drinks come with a little shortbread heart or a piece of blondie. Which along with the cakes are yummy, the other food is very good too. Nice seating inside and out with excellent friendly service Would definitely recommend a visit.

Strawberry Fields Cafe
Crockey Hill, YorkOut of all the motorbike cafe's I've visited, this is definitely the best. Friendly interactive staff, decent coffee, and a cracking atmosphere. Instantly made to feel welcome and had some good photos taken of my bike whilst i was there too. Will definitely return ??.Parking: Plenty of spots for bikes and a few cars thrown in for good measure.

48 Main St, Fulford, YorkWe stayed in room 6 for 2 nights 30th and 31st December, room 6 was very spacious, clean and a very comfortable bed plenty of storage space for clothes, tea and coffee making facilities, great bathroom and shower, lovely fresh towels, we had food in the pub on both nights and it was absolutely delicious, great portions great tasty homemade food, new years eve disco was very good and fantastic atmosphere, just a short bus ride fron york town centre, £2 each way will definitely be back thanks for a great stay

Retail Park, Unit 8 Kimberlow Ln, YorkHad an early evening meal here on a cold wet Monday. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. We had popadoms and pickles, then prawn on puree (lots of prawns), then king prawn dopiaza and special tandoori balti with a garlic coriander naan and pilau rice. I doubt there is a tastier curry to be had in York. The restaurant is a little hidden away near the university, but on the plus side you can park right outside for free. Well worth seeking out.

98-100 Fishergate, Fulford, YorkWe came to break our iftaar here after we were recommended by a regular, the restaurant was cosy with nice decor and the staff were very friendly and provided amazing customer service. The food was amazing and had authentic south Asian food, which was adapted to our spice tolerance. As a south Asian myself, I normally find food to be bland in York but this was far from bland. Overall I really enjoyed my time here and will be coming again

Piazza Restaurant, Piazza Building, Lakeside way, Heslington, YorkAbsolutely fabulous meal with exceptional service. Our meal on Saturday night was delicious from beginning to end. The tomato garlic bread starter was really tasty, followed by the best linguini di mare I have ever had - packed with shell fish and utterly divine. My partner had tagliatelle pollo which she again described as the best she’d ever had previously. The service was faultless and very engaging and helpful. We have earmarked this restaurant as one we will return to again without a doubt!

Unit 130 York Designer Outlet, St Nicholas Avenue, FulfordFriendly staff and very helpful. Warm and cosy. Problem with my coffee, too strong but the chap changed it no bother. One let down..toilets need scrubbed out! Disgraceful. If I hadn't been on hols I would have done them for them!
