I only found out about Sam Turners in Northallerton by accident, I'd had a dreadful experience at the Stokesley outlet, but a colleague convinced me not to give up on the chain. I'm now rather pleased that I did.It's a great place with an astonishing range of things for sale. I've only been 3 times, leaving circa £2k in their coffers but always with a smile on my face.The only downside for me is that it's a 60mile round trip.

We had a lovely meal in the restaurant but my husband who is a farmer and not prone to complaining about cleanliness was discussed with the condition of the gents toilet in your restaurant area. Definitely needs more regular cleaning and checking.

I ordered a Stihl electric pruner on a Thursday afternoon a couple weeks ago. It arrived first thing on Saturday morning.Last Wednesday I ordered a Stihl trimmer and it came on Friday (both were free p+p). The pricing was competitive against other suppliers. I can't give anything but 5 stars.

First time using the company ordered a pair of boots online, both boots had obvious scuffs on them. Currently waiting for my “request” to return them.

I alway give companies a chance to put something right but I have no choice, I purchased a t540 top handle saw and bar kit, after assembling the saw and climbing into a tree to carry out works the chain suddenly snap injuring my arm, after inspecting the saw we came to the conclusion that the incorrect bar had been supplied. We called and explained only to be told that it was the correct combination and that it can’t be wrong !! So we phoned another supplier and we’re told that it was the incorrect combination, I then made another call and ask Sam turner & sons could they tell me “if I wanted to buy a new bar for the chainsaw what one would I need”? They then told me the correct bar, I explained what had happened and the issue now being the sprocket on the new machine had been damage and could we have a replacement machine as it was sold incorrectly, they explain it would need to be inspected by there work shop which would take weeks, I then ask for the manager to call to get it straightened out as I thought it would be. We were told the manager would contact us later as he was busy in a meeting, this was over a week ago and nothing has been done, we still have a broken saw, I will never purchase any more equipment from Sam Turner & Sons not what I expected from them

Fantastic cafe, amazing quality and portion sizes, very reasonable prices great selection of good brands of clothing with competitive pricing. Main shop has a huge range of products, outside there is a great nursery of plants and shrubs with a greenhouse for bedding and produce plants. Also good range of fencing, garden furniture and sheds. Offer delivery service aswell as some online shopping. Well worth a visit and guaranteed to come away with a full belly and a few bargains you didn't know you needed ?

Although every communication went online and I'm kind of an old school guy about buying machines I have to give credit to all the staff got involved on my purchase. Amy was very helpful and supportive all the way through, she definitely went the extra mile. Everything came how it was promised, all the tools are in perfect condition. I found the product I required on Sam turner and sons website.It was ordered on the 1st of July and I’d received the package by third of July. Quick delivery and an email stating an estimated time of arrival. I’d certainly recommend Sam turner and Sons to those looking for a quality product at a competitive price. They arranged for it to be collected, we spoke at length about the most suitable/durable replacement sprayer which they sent out next day delivery. Specific thanks to Natalie and Steve!
Visited last week to purchase a Stihl strimmer and hedge trimmer. The lad who served me was very polite and knowledgeable on the Stihl products.I was also in the market for a mower and hadn’t fully decided which one and asked for some guidance. I was torn between Stihl, Honda or Weibang. I was given good advice on Honda and Stihl machines but the information given on the particular Weibang model I was looking at was incorrect.Ended up ordering a Stihl mower via their website after much online research and after placing the order immediately phoned up to change it from home delivery to store collection. This resulted in issues with staff members not changing the order to store collection correctly however Amy from the machinery / tools department was an absolute godsend and had the issue resolved almost instantly. Incredible customer service from her and she is a credit to the company.On the whole I’m very happy with Sam Turners and will be returning to them in a few weeks time to order a Stihl petrol leaf blower / vac.
