all the lager tasted of cider. wasn't sure if it was off or some pipe mix up.

We revisited TTTI for an evening meal. What a shocking disappointment! The tables were dirty and there were dishes, cutlery and glasses that lay uncollected. Staffing at the bar was almost non existent and there were a number of irritated customers.Toilets were neglected and unclean. The few staff were not sufficiently responsive. This establishment, clearly, did meet the requirements of Wetherspoons or customers. URGENT ATTENTION IS NECESSARY.

Probably the worst dining experience I've ever had in my life. The staff pretty much ignore you, the food took nearly an hour to arrive. It was inedible & when we complained we received a torrent of abuse & threats of physical violence. We subsequently discovered that the same man owns both the Three Tuns & the Queen Catherine Hotel & that pretty much the entire village will not go in either pub - wish we'd known this before we booked! .

Enjoyed a delicious ploughman’s lunch in this friendly, welcoming pub. Great location in the heart of the village with outdoor seating .

After a Walk in The North York Moors, Food and Drink was required and this Pub fitted the bill superbly. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Relaxed and stylish dining. Great food both in presentation and taste. Thoroughly enjoyed my return visit here. Recommended.

Stayed overnight. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Stayed in Moon house which had been recently refurbished. Clean bathroom with toiletries provided. Slept well.

We only have one complaint, the towels provided - Moon House - were rock hard and like sandpaper, they seriously need to be replaced! Other than that, excellent, hearty breakfasts and friendly staff. ?

This was the worst experience we have had in a hotel in years. My feeling is that they had overbooked. We initially were shown into a family room at the back of the pub. It had no hot water and had a very noisy extracted fan outside the door. The bathroom had not been cleaned. There was hair, toothpaste and dirt in the sink and shower. The toilet had not been cleaned and the floor around the toilet was really dirty with what looked like urine stains. The bed looked like it had been slept in. We complained and were moved to their sister hotel called the Queen Catherine Hotel. This hotel looked like it was closed. We were offered a double room with a shower that wasn’t working or a twin with a working shower. We chose the twin which looked like it did have clean beds but again the bathroom was really dirty. We were offered a refund but at 7pm in Osmotherley there was no other accommodation. We were walking the Cleveland Way so prior arrangements had been made for our bags to be collected from the Three Tuns. We stayed at the Queen Catherine but had to sleep with the window open as someone was smoking in an adjacent room until the early hours. The smoke was so bad all of our clothes smelt of cigarette smoke the next morning. We had to go back to the Three Tuns for breakfast which was dreadful. We could not wait to leave and would never stay there again.

The bar area and beer garden are quite nice. The place is pretty pricey which isn’t a problem if everything else is decent. However the majority of the staff are so miserable it’s quite amusing. They couldn’t even turn the channel over on the tv without the permission of the boss. Even though no one was watching the tv and it was only a terrestrial channel. I think that’s why there’s no local use this pub or their other one in the village. It’s not hard to be happy and nice to people!

Stopped here after day 2 of the Cleveland way for a meal. Very tasty food. I had a burger and it was delicious. Definitely on the pricy side though- it cost me £4 extra to add cheese and bacon, meaning my burger wasn’t far from £20. The lasagna we ordered was £15, so if there’s a few of you, it might work out quite expensive! It was delicious though and the interior was lovely and cosy.
