The menu of interesting sandwiches, soup, toasties and tartines is a refreshing change from much of what Yorkshire tea shops have to offer. We had to check what a tartine was (basically an open sandwich) and were not disappointed: lightly toasted sourdough came piled high with avocado, mushrooms and salad. Lovely little coffee shop with great selection of cakes and dishes using local produce. Perfectly located in the beautifully quaint village of osmotherly. No toilets on site but public toilets available in the village a short walk away. Dogs welcome. Friendly service.

Our local cafe is a welcoming place to relax, have a coffee and a delicious cake, or something from the interesting and changing menu. The chef comes from a Michelin-star restaurant.The cafe has seating at the front, a comfortable area inside and a lovely snug.The owners and staff do everything they can to make customers feel welcomed and looked after.Don't miss!
