maybe an off day or new staff? Coffee completely undrinkable, I’m not a diva but this was truly horrid- surely coffee isn’t so difficult to do? Tables sticky, horrible smell of sewage. Truly the worst cafe experience. All I wanted was to come in out of the rain!!

Lovely coffee shop in an old bank. Very reasonably priced (2x pots of tea and one cake was £5.90). Really very good coffee and tea quality. Came back 2 days in row while staying near pickering.

Popped in for tea and cake, but the curried parsnip soup piqued my curiosity! Other half fish a finger sandwich - both were excellent …and the cakes were exceptional. Tea snd latte were very good too. Friendly and efficient staff made us feel very welcome. Would definitely .

Normally a 5 for atmosphere but some dog people where in with a barking dog and thought it was funny. We drive an hour for a coffee here and will definitely do it again and againWell done

A nice spot for lunch ruined by the washed-up Paul McCartney lookalike behind the counter loudly spouting his pretty awful opinions on the Middle East. His colleagues were uninterested, and so were we.

Very disappointing visit. Staff very unwelcoming, slow service & the baked goods we tried were very dry. Toilets dirty. Also if you welcome dogs please have some water in the dog bowl not just an empty dirty bowl! Unlikely to return.

Based in an old bank we enjoyed Americanos and 2 huge cheese scones with chilli jam ? Dog friendly so had a few cuddles. Only issue was door constantly open which might be OK in summer but not on a cold damp November

Pleasantly surprised here in Pickering on Friday. I couldn’t take my pet into Costa and had doubts if the coffee would be good here, I needn’t have doubted. I Had cheese scone (baked daily) with butter and chilli jam plus Cortado coffee. The food coffee and service are really good. Prices aren’t exorbitant plus it’s pet friendly. I shall definitely be using my loyalty card. I will be back even when I don’t have my pet with me.

Went here with friends while on holiday in Pickering. Food is all made fresh to order and delicious with a good choice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Can recommend the breakfast menu lots to choose from and all delicious. Will definitely return to try their home made scones and croissants. Do not pass this cafe / old bank building which has been put to excellent use.

On holiday in Pickering and stopped by here for lunch today and what a great decision. Food was excellent and great value for money (we had the sardines on sourdough, hummus with pitta and camembert/Waldorf open sandwich). Staff were super friendly too!

Visited this coffee shop twice in 2 days and to be honest not very good. We had 2 Lattes @ £3.20 each which were served in very small glasses. It is very rustic & plain and each time when we left we said thank you but on each time we never got a response from the staff.
