Tonight my husband and I decided to try the Mix It Up Meals, and we were not disappointed. Hubby had a delicious 28 day matured rump steak, cooked to perfection he said!! He chose the fries and the fresh garden salad, which he said was really lovely, and was served with a vinaigrette dressing. I had the gammon, and was really surprised to be given 3 gammon steaks, 2 of which I brought home with me for Hubby's breakfast!! I had the Mexican Pasta Salad, which was spiced to perfection ( I would order this as a main course next time we come for lunch. The sweet potato fries were delicious, and a huge portion!! Needless to say, we changed our mind about ordering dessert this evening, as the Mix It Up Meals were huge, and very filling!!All the staff at Hungry Horse go the extra mile, and all are extremely friendly and courteous!!We will be visiting again very soon!!Mrs Dee CunninghamParking: Whenever we have visited, there has always been plenty of parking available!!

Me and my family visited here yesterday, the food was great but what disappointed us was 1. Cleanliness of the toilets as there was toilet paper everywhere one of the toilets was broken 2. one of the chairs was sinking, to be truthfully honest it's not good on the economy safety because infections can be transferred, table 8 and 3. The website advertises carvery when there isn't one so overall I put 3 stars as everything else was enjoyable even the food was lovely however for my steak I ordered mine to be Medium Rare and the other just Medium was provided with 2 Medium steaks and asked for no egg mine came with egg however I ordered off the app and asked for Peppercorn Sauce on the other they placed the pot on mine by accident but apart from all the issues I listed it was delicious and the presentations of the food was brilliant so overall 3 starsKindest RegardsZach

Typical Greene King owned, under the Hungry Horse wing. Very large establishment that has a very extensive, well priced menu, and a huge choice of beers and lagers on draught. There are daily menu deals which can save you money, portions are average, or under. Does get busy at times, advisable to book, but not necessary.

My husband and I eat here regularly, including this evening, and have never been disappointed. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The portions are very filling - no room for pudding tonight ?! And there's usually some sort of offer on, which is fab!Parking: Lots of free parking.

My family and I are in the area for a wedding. Following a day of driving called in for an evening meal. Fantastic food and service. No complaints at all. Highly recommend and will be returning for the breakfast menu. Excellent valve for money too.

Purchased the play pass for over the summer holidays so we have spent most of our time in the wacky warehouse. It is very dated and needs a fair bit doing to it but the kids love it. Food on the other hand is not up to much, chicken is like rubber, Sunday dinner comes with rock hard potatoes, chewy meat and microwaved mash. Staff are polite and friendly.

Me and my children came to wacky the other week and I was really impressed with the service we received from one of the staff called Sammie ! She was very helpful towards me and my children. Great food as per usual ! We make regular visits here and will carry on to do so !

Been visiting this pub for 3 weeks in a row, for the kids play area. We've been wanting to order their coffee and cake offer, but both coffee machines are broken and they are serving instant coffee and no cakes available. Have asked when the machine will get fixed and staff just shrug.

Went into the wacky play area first and everyone enjoyed themselves staff super friendly, we then went for a meal after and everyone got there food it perfect time and it was all delicious 10/10 will be returning again!

They have a menu behind the bar so celiac people can be involved in looking and choosing from the menu.Kid-friendliness: Perfect place for familiesParking: Clean,close to the pub and no pot hole.
