We found this place just because we were heading through to Northumberland and what a find! Easy to park and get the kids out, the place feels nice and the dining hall is large with plenty of seating spread apart nicely to not feel cramped. The food was brilliant and very good price for the ample portions. But the cherry on the cake for me was a baby change in the gents toilets! Fantastic! Our cycling group from Harrogate stopped for brunch today which we all enjoyed - I had a simply delicious Eggs Florentine, perfectly cooked and presented, plus a pot of tea. Service too was excellent as ever ! Great to be able to park the bikes in the courtyard too which is lovely in the summer.Vegetarian options: a few good choices

Great choice for a hearty and tasty breakfast. Service was friendly and fast. American pancakes were fluffy and perfectly sweetened with fruit compote and granola. Overall fabulous food and great pricing for what you get.
