We visited for Mothers day and were lucky to be the last sitting as it meant we didn't have to leave. Although all food etc was finished in plenty of time so we wouldn't have been rushed. The food was amazing and generous portions, and service was quick and very friendly with lots of smiles, even at the end of what must have been a very busy day!Vegetarian options: I went for the mushroom stroganoff rather than the veggie carvery option. And it was amazing!

Nice location overlooking river and weir. Enthusiastic welcome but seemed to lose concentration (chatting to friends/staff). Average food, the small fish though fresh, about the size of a sardine. Overall, nowt special.Parking: Parking in the street for about 3 cars, otherwise it's park and walk wherever you can.
