I popped in this lovely little cafe for a light savoury bite, but as usual I was enticed by the cake!! The owner was a lovely lady, lots of info to share about the area. She certainly gets her 'steps' in on a daily basis as she cooks downstairs and serves upstairs! Only 3 tables, so quite small, but you didn't feel on top of each other! Absolutely lovely… popped in for lunch with my hubby, elderly mum & 6 year old. Delicious fresh sandwiches made to order, grated cheese that was clearly freshly grated not pre grated & rubbery from a packet and wonderful fresh cakes. Highly recommend the lemon drizzle ! Super owner behind the counter who could not have been nicer. A real little find ?

I came to Ripon for a day out and explored the town. Came here for lunch and had a really nice sausage and bacon sandwich with a slice of cake. It was a pleasant lunch, and the cafe has a really nice view of Ripon Cathedral. Very recommended!
