In 6 visits to Scarborough, sampling fish & chips from various places, North Bay Fisheries is by far and away the best, no question! Meaty fish with a spot on batter (not greasy!), fantastic chips and the mushy peas and curry sauce were sublime!! Great friendly service too. Beyond highly recommended!Matt (Leicester)

Absolutely stunning food ordered a medium haddock which was cooked to perfection with sweet flakes of white meat. Also had a home made fish cake which was equally as exceptional full of white fish. Can’t fault it .

Amazing fish and chips, top quality, would highly recommend. The 4 star service is because I wasn't offered a bag to carry my 2 portions of fish chips and gravy, therefore it was awkward balancing the gravy on the boxes while walking back to the car. Felt like a carrier of some description should at least be offered.

Sadly the food is not as good as last year.We visited scarborough last year & stayed 5 mins walk. Food was fantastic then.This year we stayed the other side of town & drove over but did not enjoy the food.Not saying theres anything wrong with the food, just didnt enjoy it.
