This pub is very very busy with muddy walkers and doggies. The staff are very friendly and always busy, won't see a staff member doing nothing here!! We went for an early dinner at 6.00pm on a cold Winters day. Friendly and helpful staff and we were seated next to a roaring open fire which was perfect. Burgers very good but the steak pie with its rich gravy was excellent. Soon the restaurant started to fill up and its also very popular with dog owners. Will definitely go again.

Great old fashioned pub, log fires good beer friendly hosts. Lots of dogs and walkers. Fantastic food an excellent steak pie and enormous burger proper chips and gravy to die for. We stopped overnight in our motorhome, free of charge if you use the pub. Just go it's great ?

We have just enjoyed a delicious roast dinner here at the Hayburn Wyke Inn, the beef was so tender it literally melted in your mouth ?. This is the perfect place to enjoy a good hearty meal after a long walk as we did. Not expensive and a good choice on the menu. Don't expect a fancy modern pub but enjoy the old photos and history of this place along with the old pub dog who likes to just sit on her chair nearby. Staff are very friendly and service was excellent. Dogs are very welcome here. We will definitely be back soon.

What a lovely pub. Perfectly situated for a good pint and some food after a wander down to the beach. We ordered sandwiches and a side of chips, which were all delicious. A good pint too. Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere (anywhere that allows dogs is good in my book). Would definitely recommend.
